Only 15 PERCENT of Steam users have completed Main Story line!

I just completed main story line yesterday. Only six percent of entire Steam users playing this game have that achievement like me.... wow! Figured it would be like 80% by now. What are 94% of the rest of you that have not completed the game doing??? I took my time and did a ton of side quests and gradually completed main story as a female V at lvl 25. This is best open world game I ever played.... GTA V is a joke compared to this Masterpiece! Police system needs reworked and vehicle handling needs to be better but the rest...omg... the amount of detail and open world work that went into this game... it's easily worth $500 retail...which I would have gladly paid :)

Most people have lives. I've had the game since release but only have played 20 hours max. not even close to finishing the story

Steam is weird with completion percentage. Some people get games and they just sit in their library for years. Myself included. I did finish the main story for this game today after playing 100+ hours.

Achievements are not working for a lot of people (me included), so it could be that

I always drag the main story out in any game I like.
Once thats done it's game over, so might as well make it last.
I often dont even finish main story at all cos it's the least interesting part of a good game.

Same for me. I have something like 700 hours across all versions of Skyrim and never really touched the main quest much. I have 45 hours in Cyberpunk 2077 so far barring the 7 or so I lost to bugs, and so far I have gotten as far as meeting with Takemura in the diner.

I am actually starting a new game now because 1.05 alleges to have fixed the bugs that cost me those 7 hours in my original playthrough. Fingers crossed. 🤞

1) Stats shows me 14% finished main story
2) Even less people crafted more than 3 legendary items, so much for people playing game without finishing it
3) In Witcher 3 like 35% of people finished main story and that game is out for years

I dont really know if steam stats are broken, or if majority of people tend to abandon games before finishing them (not even 90% even got first achievement obtainable after few minutes of game)... but yea, that is how it is.

And when i think how CDPR claimed "we made shorter main story because people complained story is too long"... well, now it seems they had/have their priorities wrong.

That's about where I got to as well, but the game world is just too empty and pointless for me to continue.

I think all the negative press lowered my expectations.

So when I finally got to play the game I was surprised at how much I liked and just how much content is packed into it.

I can't believe that there are people that think that GTA. with it's terrible combat and supbar story, is a better game than this.

I can't see this game not winning game of the year for 2021.

What I am doing? Enjoying the game obviously.
I'm now on 80 hours and somewhere in the middle of the second act.

not finished the story...quite far off it tbh, but I'm doing a lot of running around and exploring for random things instead.
I'll get back to the main story later on

Percentages mean nothing. BL2 has been out for how many years and only 32% have beaten Jack.
