Unable to attach scope to sniper rifle

Hello,

I've bought a long scope but I'm unable to attach it to my sniper rifle (or any gun with a scope slot for that matter). The scope appears in my backpack but is not available when clicking on the scope slot of a weapon.

No, it's not already attached to a weapon - I even dropped it and took it back to be sure. (Besides, I've a mussle on my pistol, it doesn't appear in the backpack unless I detach it.)

The scope in question: Mk.8 Clearvue
The weapons I'm unable to attach it to: Nekomata Tech Sniper rifle, Dying Night, M-10AF Lexington

I'm playing on Windows PC (hotfix 1.05).

Has anybody made similar experiences? Is there some restriction on which scope goes with which weapon I'm not aware of? Or is it a bug?

Update : i found a second scope and two assautlt rifles
- The second scope can't be attached to the sniper rifle or pisols either
- Both scopes can be attached to the assault rifle

I'm starting to think there might be some kind of hidden compatibility attribute. If that's the case, it's extremely frustrating as that information is displayed nowhere.

Not all scopes go on all guns. I think you have already figured that out though.
