How important is Technical Ability?
This seems to be the only way to upgrade weapons/clothing to higher tiers. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

I play a crafting build too in my 2nd run (i´m pretty early in the game) so i have
a question where do i get the blueprints from? because gun dealers seem to have only the very basic prints.

You can find the legendary ashura (smart sniper rifle) schematics in a building you get access to at the start of the game.

Google search it.
So i have to find all schematics somewhere?
(I didm´t craft anything in my first run so i never cared about the blue prints ;)

Nothing is essential but Tech comes with overpowered Tech weapons and access to Crafting, which can be powerful on its own sure - but the perks make it great. Bonus consumable power and ability to strip mods from the stuff you disassemble being two examples.

To top it off, the skill grants access through some doors and gates etc, lets you turn off turrets and cameras, lets you disarm mines and trip mines, I think it lets you jack in sometimes, and also gives you some options in dialogue.

Crafting is a long grindy process to level up and Engineering is too, so getting free perks from the Technical attribute is kind of annoying, but honestly the skill is strong enough that it's worth it regardless - Tech weapons augment whatever weapon you decide to use rather fiercely thanks to damage stacking and ignoring armour etc.

Depends on how anal you are about maximising your gear. The most annoying thing is that recycling mods is locked behind LVL 16 of this attribute, so if you don't specc into it, you'll invariably have to spend hundreds of thousands eddies just to re-buy important mods like Deadeye/Bully etc. (the purchasing cost of which apparently also scales with your level).

The only schematic you'll need for the entire game is the Ashura Smart Rifle. And it's real easy to get.

And yeah, you can recycle mods with 16 in technical.

Also, crafting is easy to level up with the crafting glitch. Buy 500 sodas of the same type and disassemble them 1 at a time. The game will gift you crafting exp as if you had disassembled all 500.

It is not necessarry at all even for "late game" stuff. But imo it's a waste not to invest in it, I mean at the end of the game, it's cool to hunt for blueprint and craft the best possible gear while doing Gigs. But it is not required by any means

It's actually not that bad it just takes lots of resources.

You can make and disassemble the first chip you can make to get level 4 and then just do upgrades which tend to give more xp than making new basic items.

Hmm, in my first play through, it really sucked not being able to craft or upgrade the gear I found to Legendary.

While it's nice that you can find free Legendary clothes in Night City, you're pretty much stuck with that look. I think I'll try for a 20 Body, 20 Reflex and 18 or 20 Technical Ability build and go from there. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Cool is pretty damn good too. Resistance (although I am not 100% on how resistance work), crit damage. Cold blood can be quite handy and the bonus you get from leveling up coold blood and stealth are really really good.

So yeah it's definitely a tough call ;)

It seems like there isn't a limit to how high you can upgrade clothes. I got some double digit gear to triple digit levels. Walking right into a group of enemies at my level they did whatever they could to damage me I never even saw my health bar pop up.

So, ya, pretty broken if you can get up there.
