Maybe you try maxing the crafting tree and start selling crafted items but honestly that's just tedious.
Haven't really dropped many skill points into crafting but the tree seemed to be exploitable.
Maybe on my 2nd run i max it ASAP
I just think the economy at its current state encourages a style of gameplay that is boring (dismantling/crafting which rewards at least 10x more money vs. side gigs). I think maybe by lowering the cost of items or increasing the amount of money you gain from access points and side gigs in general, farming money would be a more enjoyable experience.
Just my opinion.
