YOU CAN'T SAVE RIGHT NOW - Game broken

Yo - as called above - won't be able to save no more, tried restarting, deleting last savegames, etc.pp.

Started when I load a old savegame while were active in another mission.

Somebody got a solution for this? Otherwise I'll uninstall the game and wipe the cache, but then everythings lost >>

Might be a Steam cloud save issue?

I'm on GOG and it's fine.

Deactivate cloud saves. I never use them and don't have this issue.

fast travel fixes this issue for me.

I have found that there are specific areas that you cannot save. I believe it is because you have triggered a script to load an event that you are in close proximity to it. I am just barely into act 2 and have been doing all of the side quests and street crime scenes. When ever I am close to one of the 3 main quest locations I cant save. Just move a short distance and the ability to save will be reinstated. ( or fast travel as has been mentioned ).

Yeah that too, you can't save when on the phone or in a car that is moving or in a bunch of locations that will be part of a later or previous quest.

The game also auto-saves when you use your stash, or when you buy/sell things at a vendor or drop-box, so if this bug happens after completing a quest, you'll probably have picked up some stuff you want to store or sell anyway, so you can just do that and you'll get a working auto-save from it, and restart will fix the problem.

I just had this problem. Fast traveling, answering the phone, nothing worked....until I completed a different sidequest, then I could finally save....so stupid.
