Why limit romance options so much
Like this game is so tight on everything and romance was one of the points it didn't have to be

It's limited in everything that relates to choice-making.

it would have been neat to romance any of the characters regardless of your characters chosen identity

Everyone be careful of what they say.

I guess they are building up the sequel if CDPR planning to have Cyberpunk 2. Making Judy and other romanceable counterpart somewhat non-canon like Shani in Witcher 3.

Totally wish they could just let V bang Alt or Rogue.

I agree you have the option to make a character that looks female, but has male gender qualities, and voice.

but your romances are still limited to heterosexual. ( No alternate life styles, open mindedness what ever. )

It seems to me it would have been better to have done the skyrim thinking, and just ignored gender choice in romance all together.

The hookers are all bi-sexual. Being bi myself I find that reserving bisexuality only for hookers to be a little offensive, but that's just me.

I'm not arguing moderation, only helping you understand the forum rules as they have been told to me; suggesting the characters should be bi is not okay here. I am neither for nor against this rule, but no point in you getting a warning if you can avoid it.

And they’re not very interesting to watch. They keep cutting to different positions. But in truth they didn’t do a good with this in the Witcher 3 even. Probably was never a huge focus.

The characters don't need to be 'bi', they just need to be down for your character, regardless of their gender. I don't recall anything in the storylines that suggests the characters have to be one sexuality or the other before you meet them, so the only variable is in how they respond to you.

Regardless of whether these characters should be more openly available in a video game world where transhumanism makes the idea of modern sexuality pretty silly to begin with, there should have been more than 1 option for each type of character. Give us two options, so we aren't forced to romance the same character every time.

Not really. As male V, I was able to both romance Panam (female) and River (male). You are not limited in that regard. They're trying to tell a story, Skyrim wasn't really trying to do that all that much.

That is true. I could imagine a sort of quantum entanglement situation where a character is gay/straight if you start the game as their sex/opposite sex, and bi or straight if you're the opposite gender.

Most sources say River is strictly straight?
