How to remove ballistic coprocessor from hand?
So, i get that you can't remove cyberware from your body and return to normal (it's weird, makes no sense, i hate it, but ok), but i bought the tattoo of the Tyger Claws that works basically like a Smart Link, and it should also replace the ballistic coprocessor that you acquire (without any choice on the matter) the first time you visit Viktor. In the invetory menu, if you look at V's right hand, the ballistic coprocessor is not there anymore, the hand is normal, but during the game, if you look at the right hand, even during cutscenes, the ballistic coprocessor is still there. Is it a bug? If yes, will it be fixed? Is there a way to remove it for good? I kinda hate the look of it to be honest, and it's kinda useless too, not to mention it's also immersion breaking when you replace it with another cyberware.
Also, if you notice, if you buy the monowire for the arms, it adds some cyberwere to your hands too, and that clips and glitches with the ballistic coprocessor, making it look very weird, and i think it's really not supposed to look like that. That is definitely a bug, right?

It should always be there for any hand mod. So it not appearing is a bug

I really don't think so. How do you know? Where does it say? And what about the clipping issue with the monowire? And why it disappears in the inventory menu if you replace it with another hand cyberware like the Tiger Claws tattoo? Looks like a bug to me....
If it isn't... well, customization? Where? You can't even change your hair...

Well if it’s always there in cutscenes then it should be there outside of cutscenes, it’s only logical.

Maybe it's a bug that is always there... since it's not there outside of cutscenes and it makes sense because you replaced it with something else...

So... nothing? At least is anyone agreeing with me and complaining about this? It's a small thing i know, but not that small since hands are literally the only part of your body that you see often... customization of your character was going to be a big part of this game, but apparently it's the exact opposite.

CP has very limited cosmetic customization at the moment. Maybe it will stay this way. Only, you can change clothes. Oh boy, this game has potential, but i am not sure it will ever rise up to it.

My fear exactly... it's so sad...

Have the exact same problem. I tried replacing it with everything, bought every version of the smart link, all arm upgrades, tried to "overwrite" it with another coprocessor and then switching to something else... no luck. It sticks to your hand forever. I agree that it's a bug tho, otherwise why would it vanish from the inventory and photo mode?

Yes, I think it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's like picking some metallic blue nail polish for V in the character creator and ending up with some ugly matte purple nail polish xp

You are not alone, I hate the look of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. It'd be fine if it was just temporary, like after the surgery or whatever. The thing is, the texture of V's normal hand EXISTS before you get the ballistic coprocessor, so it seems like any number of modders could somewhat easily swap out the textures. My biggest problem is that for some reason, they made V habitually cough up blood into their RIGHT hand, and the texture looks unnatural and janky over the stupid implant

Once you get, it stays on. You can either switch it for a better compressor or switch it for the smart weapon cybermod.

That part of your hands got replaced. In Night City, you can replace organic with cyberware, but not cyberware with organic.
