Cyberdeck Ping Quickhack Stuck on Screen?

So uh... I went and got the free ping quick hack from T-Bug pretty late in the game. I just wanted to clear the marker off my map. I'd already found one somewhere else and I'd been using it already so just never cared for the free one.

And I wish I hadn't.

Because now I have this stupid message on the bottom left of my screen telling me to equip it and it won't go away. I've tried turning off tutorials, I've equipped, unequipped every quickhack I have, including the ping. Restarted the game.

Nothing works. I thought for sure it'd just go away on its own so I did a few more missions before it finally really started to bother me and now I'd rather not lose my progress...

Help?

I'm in the same boat.. Still no work-around for this???

Not only is this super annoying it actually gets in the way of performing certain actions.

The ping that t bug gives you has s quest marker . Equip the same and follow the instructions.

Were you in the bulding you got it from when you equiped it?

Mine stayed on (if you are talking about the yellow "!") until I used it to craft a higher grade ping. So I was stuck with it for about 20 hours.

Yeah "that" ping. You have to equip it in that netrunner shop and then use it on the camera above the netrunner chair in the same shop.
And then crack the access point the ping points to( it is in the wall diagonally left to the camera in the netrunner shop.
That complete it.
