Lies. China bans games all the time or whines about stuff that doesn't suit their narrative.
Because they have no pull in anywhere except China, or they shouldn't at least. But Western companies have been caving into their demands the last few years, and it is a bit scary. Greed rules the day though unfortunately so they censor what China wants censored.
