What's this obsession with sexuality in Night City?
Everything is just so sexualized. You literally cannot walk for one minute straight without seeing a lewd picture or hearing some moaning sound from a commercial.

Yeah, it's completely overdone for some reason. Sex and nudity is good and all, but there's a limit to how much one can handle before it becomes a bit of an annoyance. Oh well, I guess it's better than having politics shoved down our throats, am I right?

Hedonism is part of the genre.

That's all part of the cyberpunk genre as a whole, especially 80s cyberpunk.

An excess amount of it I might add, and yes it's part of the core lore culture of the Cyberpunk universe.

If you find it unfitting and repulsive in the game, then I guess you've bought it base on the hype only and without understanding any of the background.

No! The game should conform to what I want!

While I can't say I have vast knowledge of the Cyberpunk universe, the way it came across to me is that the Cyberpunk universe is set in a Corporate Dystopia. What that means is that at this point in time, the only thing of value is money. Which means that all sense of morality and dignity is completely gone and so are the rules about what you can and can't put in ads. This of course has spiraled into corporations catering to people's most base desires, such as sex and gluttony.

So it's actually fairly realistic that if you got to the point where corporations were able to advertise or profit in any way they chose without any sort of regulations, they would keep pushing the envelope as much as possible to draw more attention to their products, which would end up in the state we currently see Night City in, a sex fueled 80's fever dream of neon and vice.

More like "why the ♥♥♥♥ is the community obsessed with sex in this game?"

Boo hoo i cannot stick my ♥♥♥♥ in anything i want, 1/10.
Seriously, even IGN reviewers are more legit than that.
If you find trivial all different styles of portray violence in games, why not get try to get accustomed with nudity and sex as well?

I personally think is more healthy and postive to do so, than be happy cause you shoot some NPC face.
