Why do people keep praising the music in this game?

It's absolute trash. Just a bunch of terrible rap and techno. The Silverhand theme for his flashback missions is groovy, but that's it. I can't stand the radio, that stupid japanese girls bubble song is just pure awfulness. Unfortunately I have to hear it blaring out of shops and clubs all the freaking time.

To be fair, I dislike rap in general, and am more of a rock guy...but the rock songs in this are so generic and bad. Makes me feel better sounds like Trent Reznor if he had a stroke. There's that other song that sounds like Five Finger Death Punch if they sucked even more than the do (which I find hard to believe, but here we are).

Is this seriously the kind of music people enjoy nowadays?

I was really really hopong for some cool techno beats some.. KMFDM type of stuff or music i could really go ina cyberpunk club n roleplay to but.. Its not there.

I really gotta say the crappy music in this game made me..

100%appreciate borderlands 1 2 3's crazy techno and music choices in general.

None of your music fits the game... incase you didnt notice Cyberpunk 2077 doesnt take place in the 80's and it doesnt have anything that would make it feel like an 80's universe.

Even the earliest date in the game flashback takes place in 2023.
Just accept it... an alternate universe doesnt always progress exactly the way you want it to with nostalgic old music. Even real life isnt the way you want it... just because popular music doesnt sound good to you it doesnt mean its not popular.

And i dont think Eminem or Dragonforce even exists in the cyberpunk world... they have their own rockstars and pop singers. Copy pasting from real life is just lazy and unoriginal.

The whole game is supposed to take place somewhere fictional and unreal... if they had Eminem or some other popular band playing in the radio it would be awkward and out of place.
