Attributes will depend on what you want to do. Pure melee? Quickhack hybrid? Stealth?
My monowire build was mostly purely melee with some quickhacks for bosses and burn capacity to fuel the Paraline netdeck boosts. I went 20 in body/tech/int and 15 in reflexes for dash and air dash, 4 in cool for the lowest tier stealth perks. I think the last 2 stat points went into reflex for cyberware buffs. Paraline netdeck + Overclock is a MASSIVE boost to damage. Motorotors dont work with monowires (at least it didnt when I did this build early 2.0), but Dense Marrow does, as well as any general "melee" buffs on cyberware. Monowires are not considered blades for perks or boosts.
Smart weapons would be an obvious weapon to accompany monowires, but it doesnt really matter, everything is viable.
You shouldnt need to remove the monowire to do the Beat on the Brat questline, your fists and monowire should be separate weapon slots. You might want to swap over to gorilla arms anyways if you are on very hard, for peace of mind.
SMGs are the good smart weapon, mostly on the back of the Submachine Fun perk. Extra credit if you are using the Paraline netdeck, at 5++ it will increase both monowire and smart weapon damage by 60% during Overclock, which is just absolutely busted for Submachine Fun triggered SMGs. Smart SMGs dont NEED Submachine Fun, they are still, on an individual basis, the best of the smart weapons regardless.
And here I thought Submachine Fun was broken af on its own with Power SMGs and obscene amounts of Projectile Launch System spam, there's an option to stack 60% damage on top of it? Guess me try Int above 3
Pizdets has ramping firing speed, on top of increased headshot damage, and most ridiculous of all -- it does 200% more sneak damage, which with the 55 headhunter skill giving you 3 seconds of bonus sneak damage time when combat begins will be plenty of time for your already emptied clip to commit genocide on everyone within your Smart gun reticle.
I haven't used Overclock before (along with 90% of the other Int perks) but I find myself quite interested now. I was thinking sneaky build with some Int investment and covert quickhacks on next build, but Submachine Fun is by far my favorite perk. Something about the infinite stream of bullets, non-existent reload, and DPS just feels... good.
It's not genocide if I dehumanize the pixels first.
