Car Colours: No Style, No Substance

For a game that glorifies itself for having style and substance, the cars you get to buy are atrocious, no style and no substance, compared to the ones of the same type you can steal. There are numerous occassions where I've seen a car that I might like and the equivalent you can buy is a disgusting brown or grey colour. The only one I've got so far that's actually good (black) is the Murkmobile. And yet, I saw another one that HAD PURPLE HIGHLIGHTS. Black and purple it was amazing. Why can't I buy one like that? All the cars you can buy are brown or grey boring garbage. Who thought that was a good idea?
Are there mods to d/l where you can actually buy cars that actually have some colour? And alternatively, mods that allow you to keep/store cars you steal?

yeah but what went through their heads when they were designing the cars? "Ummm what colour should we do the Quadra? Ummm.... how about BROWN? Yeah that's a good colour, players will love that colour its so out there!" ffs

what went thru their mind was probably 'whats the most bought colour here in my home country?'
brown (XD) or what colour is there the most of?
plus, brown shows less dirt, dust and when pigeons dive bomb you (forgetting that all birds are gone pretty much)

so instead of choosing a colour that would be more appropriate for cyberpunk they choose something more close to their IRL experience though? A poor excuse if that is/was the case...

haha I just used a Villefort Cortes V5000 Valor in the Jefferson Peralez car chase mission, and then after that I thought I'd buy the one you can buy from the vehicle purchase machine to represent the banged up one getting fixed and a new paint job. So I'm surprised its not brown or grey or some boring colour, its pink :O But its blue in the picture, so they couldn't even be bothered making the colours the same as the pictures in the purchase machine? /facepalm
