Money is not hard to come by, at all; components, especially high-tier ones, are far more valuable to me.
If you have the DLC, start doing those repeatable car-jacking missions to get those discount badges for the autoshop! Also some great rewards for those missions, including components.
This is what I am planning to do, hence I am tossing up to sell or disassemble, as it seems like it will be costing quite alot to get all the cars and apartments.
I sort of left the DLC after I was granted access to exit Dogtown. Maybe I will go back in there to do these car jacking missions.
Thanks everyone!
Yes, once you've done the first one, these car missions will spawn all over the map, not only in Dogtown, and they're fun if you like these things. And the rewards are top notch. Usually some skill shards (very nice), some high tier mods, as well as weapons and components. Some money shards as well. Comparable to those airdrops in Dogtown when it comes to rewards, I think.
And of course the tokens giving you 10-15% (?) off on your next vehicle purchase, which can be stacked up to 90% discount (I think).
I like to do Dogtown stuff in small doses (very depressing place lol), so it's nice to have those repeatables with Dogtown loot spawn all over the map.
....umm, no. Upgrading cyberware uses the exact same components that you use to upgrade/craft weapons. Maybe it was different before 2.0, but now they're the same. Only different components are the ones used to craft quick hacks.
