As in shuts down completely and won't come back on? Or does it simply restart? (This is key).
If it goes off and won't come back on, it's either;
A temperature issue and something's overheating (Which wouldn't be surprising given the heat waves in some places right now). Check your temps and make sure they're what you'd normally expect.
Or
it's a power supply failure.
Other games as in what? Cyberpunk is possibly one of the most demanding games you have, so it's not surprising to encounter this in this game before the others.
If the temperatures comes back ok (Roughly low to mid 30C, or 90F IDLE, with max of around 80C/190F being the higher end, then it's PSU.
(give or take on the Fahrenheit, these are just rough calculations i made in my head, so they may be off by a small amount)
You can do what SrTonn said, but DO check your voltages!
You can also reseat your power cables, and make sure everything is clean and undamaged, but if it's flat out going off, won't come back on, and it's not heat, your PSU is dying, and needs replacing asap.
I am not computer-savvy enough to explain exactly why this worked for me (something about Microcode??), but I had done _everything_ with my mod setup, deleting all mods, deleting my game, reinstalling my game on a different drive, updated drivers, rolled back drivers, you name it...I messed around for a couple of months while my situation got progressively worse. It got to the point where my game wouldn't start until I did a complete shutdown, restarted and tried to start my game a bunch of times before it got past the first second of the initial splash screen. Now it starts first time, every time and plays for hours with no hiccups whatsoever.
Flashing your BIOS is a big step...it's not difficult AS LONG AS YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DO IT RIGHT! Also, for goshsakes, make sure your Windows account password is up to date...I got locked out of Windows because my PIN was deleted. There are way to fix that situation, but you don't want to encounter that in the first place.
If this doesn't sound like the answer for you, try including all your PC specs in a message...it's pretty much impossible to troubleshoot a problem if you don't say what your system is.
