With the Phantom Liberty DLC you can increase the % more with Jhonny and what is the maximum % with and without DLC

If I remember well, Johnny Silverhand's relationship percentage on the base game only, is 70%. But after installing the DLC, it goes up to 85% max. :)

Yep.
The old max was 70% where as the new default when reaching the end is 85%
Having said that, if you play like I do ( do Judy's quests, Panam's quests, Goro's quest, then visit Pacifica last, so it's just a quick walk to the hotel after meeting Alt) he kinda gets grumpy when you start the expansion lol.

I mean, we're chooms by then. He's comfortable enough with me to offer to get ghosted in my place, then suddenly we fell out?
(Would make sense if it happened after I was dumb enough to take that Oath, if I were, which I'm not, at least on my main lol..... But yeah, it's like two weeks worth of work, wasted while he sulks at being muzzled. And that's not even *my* fault.)

Because the last 30% was gained by going to Arasaka tower with him and making the choice at the end.
Iirc, when you get inside Mikoshi your at 100% affinity.
Your then left with 100% affinity score in the Temperance end, or 100% street rep of 'Living Legend'
(Since you can't get that last 2% for rep any other way I don't think)

Ahhh, that makes sense. Well, kinda, but atleast it explains it.

I've only done the "secret ending" once, but that was before PL dropped, so you coulden't get him to 100% even if you chose that ending back then (Nomad ending is my fav, so that's usually the one i've gravitated twords).

Unlocking the "secret" ending is mostly down to choosing the right answers at the oil fields. A quick google search will tell you all you need to know there.

Yeah, thinking back on it, I think I called him the "Legend of Night City" instead of choosing "The Guy Who Saved My Life". So I borked my secret ending opportunity. I'll have to make sure to choose the correct dialogue next time.
I sat there on the roof waiting and waiting for him to offer the secret approach to the Arasaka raid. But nada. Even at 85%.
So, next play through, I'll be sure to get it right. I want to play that ending.

You shouldn't, if mem serves, tell him 'its good we got to talk like this. Shame we didn't from the start' gotta call him on his bullcrap first.

Some folks worried that saying no to 'would you take a bullet for me?' had an effect.
It does, but not for getting the ending.
It changes how he reacts in Mikoshi. He cares more I think, if you said 'yes, I would.' he's less friendly if you said no

You could get him to 100% pre phantom liberty. You just had to hit that rooftop at 70%
(And then pick the secret ending) If you were at 70% you auto had the 100 if you survived to enter Mikoshi. Most players never checked..understandable since you were in a 'safe' (lol) zone, so didn't need to check stuff.

You could/can get the secret ending at even 40% so long as you got the dialogue right, from a couple vids I've seen.
