Forced into romance with Panam HELP

So after the Basilisk mission Panam started sending me messages that clearly show she thinks we are together. Already during the mission I got strange vibes. I was friendly with her, but avoided obvious intimate moves like kissing or touching her.
I know she is strong-willed, but this is psycho behavior. I would like to stay friends, nothing more, how do I tell her without hurting her feelings? Would hate to use the memory wipe quickhack on her. Hmm. Or maybe...after a quick...I mean she wants it...

Jokes aside, I used console cheats earlier to make Judy bi to date her. Probably that is the cause, or do others also have this problem?

She is friendly if she likes you, and a bit 'all over the place' kind of girl. Doesn't mean you're in a romantic relation.

There should be a clear dialogue choice where you tell her if you want to romance her or not at some point.

Has she asked to come over to one of your apartments yet? The 'I really want to stay at your house' repeatable mission?

No, that I have with Judy. Panam said she wanted to take things slow with me to do it right, during the mission. EDIT: "even if only as a friend" I chose the most neutral response in my opinion, don't remember the exact words. Now she texts me that she is waiting for the right moment, and I can only reply with a) "the moment at the camp fire wasn't right?" ( there was no moment in my memory, just drinking a beer with her and the others) or b) "Not trying to put any pressure on you...but PRESSURE :D" or something like that.

Anyway, it's not that important, but I feel there should be more response options or "warnings".

If you have a romance with Judy, that means, unless you're using a mod, you're playing female V. Which means, again unless you're using a mod, you're not in a romance with Panam.

I've had that same bunch of text messages from her as a girl too.
After choosing ether the 'no pressure' or 'the moment at the camp wasn't enough?' there is something about SHOULD i pressure you? And I AM NOT BACKING OUT! lol (her yelling in text, not V)

You have Phone Messages Overhaul mod, but you don't have the mod that lets you get intimate with Panama as a girl.
Same as me lol. It's not exactly a bug, it's just that the mod is coded to act that way.
I left a comment about it, thinking I was confused, asking for deets about it on the mod page.

I asked because as I said "i can accept that Rogue texting me "tell your new girlfriend to stop boasting about killing Nash" was Rogue being sarcastic (that's her style lol).. but was i mistaken when i got these texts from Panam, like she was texting male V?"
Asked if the pmo mod allowed girls with Panam and Kerry and guys with River and Judy, then?
Answer there was no, but it currently kinda acts like you are in the texts.

So, don't worry, she isn't actually going to be your crazy output.
The mod kinda thinks that for this text tho.
Not sure if there will be any other weirdness tho, since I'm on 2.02 still, and the dates at your apartment are 2.1 and above iirc lol. (I haven't updated the mod ether lol)

Judy only became a lesbian very late into production; in fact, all the voice-lines were already done for male V's romance with Judy. One of the very first mods, literally within days, was the command line to reinstate the romance option.

If you told her you want to take it slow on the tower you basically told her that you are interested in her but that's not a commitment yet. You will have a mission later on that will make it very clear that it's a choice of V going into a relationship with her or not.

Judy was always written as a lesbian. All voice lines have been recorded by both voice actors for a better workflow and to avoid mistakes that would be hard to fix later on.

Sure, I've read that about the voice acting lines, but, still... with Judy all you need is a command line and 'everything just works', with trying to make River gay or Panam lez, you're required to use mod(s) which can bug out.

Maybe Judy was meant to be bi.
