Delamain quest bug

Delamain gets stuck in an infinite loop with yellow text about valuing beauty and 'what's life like in a human world?'

After I handed in the scanner and went through the dialogues it kept looping forever, please help.

Simply reload previous save game and try again.

Sometimes such ♥♥♥♥ happen.

I tried reloading the previous save, and then I tried a further back save, and then I tried a regular save and looad instead of quicksave or auto save, none of it worked

I was not in such case, usually loading previous saves fix all my problems, so i are not expert, but i know that here is alike Save game editors, and some of them allow reset quest objectives.
But i say again, i are not expert, before do anything like that need do Save game backup copies, and extra carefully read all instructions how to right do it.

For sure, before such actions as i describe above, first need try all routinly actions alike verify game files, reinstalls and bla bla bla

It's not a bug per se, but rather a consequence of them never adding an "end conversation" line for the player to choose.

Just walk away, like with every conversation. Once you've exhausted all dialog options, or they start looping, just walk away. Convo's done, nothing more to see here.

And yes, it's a bit clumsy..

It isn't a bug, it is like a little epilogue after quest. Your quest is over? Yes, it is. Next Delamain's quest will triggered later.

hmmm actually yes, necessary more detailed problem description, because as i understand OP quest simply not end and hang in such state.

yeah you're right, just leaving and waiting proceeds things, and the quest worked out and ended properly too!
