can confirm this works! just get the universal version and use the plugin_red4ext option inside the zip. or you can use the dlss tweaks version if you follow the instructions and use dlss tweaks (not really needed for this game though). that works too (also confirmed).
i am absolutely blown away that with an RTX 3080 12gb i can set the quality slider to the highest preset (with full ray tracing AND path tracing enabled), and at DLSS quality and frame generation on with this mod, i get actually playable FPS!
the difference between the old maxed ray tracing and the new 2.12 path tracing is like another order of magnitude improvement.
i am also using this as a guide to further boost performance:

Both mods work well together and the performance boost is large.
But to be honest it would be better if cdpr added it in the game though.
Edit: you do not need an Nvidia Graphics card to use it, an Amd one will work well with it. I know this because my gpu is AMD. its an RX 580 4GB, honestly surprised i can even run the game lol.

Can't check that for you, sorry. Not an AMD owner.
You can, but without official implementation you don't have any motion vectors to work with, creating artifacts on elements that's supposed to be static. This is the major issue with force-applying frame generation to games. It's better to recieve official support.
The anti-aliasing method fsr 3 + frame generation is also already available (hi from Ghost Of Tsushima)... it’s time to add it to the game.
Still hoping they do add FSR 3.x and that its version 3.1 or newer and not 3.0 by the time they do add it.
I am hoping it comes in sometime soon with an update
