Been playing this for years then it starts crashing my entire PC
Anybody ever encountered weird crashes? Like the game works perfectly then it wont only crash my game but my whole pc will shut down. I took out discord and Steam overlay and I checked the integrety of my game on steam and everything works well there. Any body here ever dealt with something like that?

If your PC is shutting down then it's not the game, clean your PC and check your temperatures while playing.

An unstable overclock could be the culprit. A common issue with demanding games like Cyberpunk rebooting your pc would be your graphics driver crashing.

Graphics driver crashing should not reboot a PC. A forced shut down, or power cut, is a hardware or security fault.

Graphics driver crashing might lock up the PC but should not shut it down. The PC can operate without functional graphics (though it will try to immediately restart that process).

Weird, I have like over 400 hours in this game never no issues I was also playing for extended periods of time. No other games does this but Cyberpunk. I guess I will check the temperature and stuff.

Is it possible that your power supply may not be high enough capacity for your hardware when running the game? Was it just on the limit of your config, for example? Because the 2.0 patch is a bit more intensive so it's not impossible it's now tipping things over the edge (or, indeed, increased the game's sensitivity to over clocking as noted above).

While it is true what you're saying I've had this issue with Cyberpunk in particular in the past and I was able to pinpoint it to the graphics card overclock. Can't hurt to mention it.

Nope I was running everything in Ultra minus the ray tracing, will try and lower the stuff a bit to see if it's helping.

Yep I get a couple random crashes a day, usually when I'm in the inventory menu of all things. I do have quite a few visual and QOL mods installed though so I'm not sure if it's one of he mods causing this or the base game is having issues lately

Oh forgot to mention I was playing vanilla. Anyways I will be checking it out more tomorrow. Thanks everyone for taking time to talk to me :)

Sounds related to overheating if the PC shuts down. The system requirements have been increased a bit with v.2. Try setting a framerate limit in the game, unless you haven't tried that already. Or preferably using Nvidia control panel or similar apps.

Good luck!
