That was V's Arasaka affiliated (Ie, paid for by them) life coach.
When the contract with Arasaka was ended, V lost everything connected to it.
The company car, ConApt (company apartment) TraumaTeam coverage, and any and all Arasaka privileges.
(V says as much, both to Jackie when he says "You didn't loose *everything*"...and to Rosalind Myers when she talks to them about Arasaka Clearance levels in the expansion)
Mr Life Coach was just another one of those Arasaka privileges.
V is better off finding the wandering monk anyway.
