I have been trying to call him for time to time after Jackie's death yet seems like none ever pick up phone. Is he dead?

Never saw anything about him later the early's playtrought, the only thing I know is Abernath killed her self and we find the guy who we speak at the begining again.

I assume once V was fired, their life coach has been "unassigned" to them or something

That was V's Arasaka affiliated (Ie, paid for by them) life coach.
When the contract with Arasaka was ended, V lost everything connected to it.
The company car, ConApt (company apartment) TraumaTeam coverage, and any and all Arasaka privileges.
(V says as much, both to Jackie when he says "You didn't loose *everything*"...and to Rosalind Myers when she talks to them about Arasaka Clearance levels in the expansion)
Mr Life Coach was just another one of those Arasaka privileges.

V is better off finding the wandering monk anyway.
Better life coaching from him.

Have tought about him too at some point. Would have liked a sidestory with him. He is concerned about us and keeps us as a client behind Arasakas back. They notice it and we have to save him from Sakassassins. He goes hiding and wishes us the best.
