Two Lizzies?

We have Lizzy Wizzy and we have the original owner of Lizzie's Bar. I always assumed these are the same person, but in my most recent play through, I have been paying a little more attention to the backstory, and I gather the owner of Lizzie's Bar was killed by the Tiger Claws back in the day.

So is there some Lizzy connection between these two in the lore?

Common nickname for the name Elisabeth and its derivatives, I'd assume. Even in Norway (but then Lissi, more commonly).

The only meaningful character is Johnny Silverhand for witch you choose to give him your body or not. Eventually one of you dies.

Other characters can be killed, though it might break some quests. So I would refrain from shooting NPC unless you have a dialog option to take them out.

Also, I think the game had a bug in early patches that it didn't mark side quests as completed in journal, even if the side quest was completed by player.

In one of the recent patches finally fixed that, but instead of marking quests completed basing on your savefile, they did reset all broken side quests, and you need to redo them.

most notably Mike Pondsmith was pretty terrible with names. Theres been like three separate people nicknamed "Hammer" in the lore too xD

Maybe a problem when the guys were coming up with their own characters and getting the ones from the original Cyberpunk lore.
Whole lotta folks in this game have refurbished names from original lore.

Ok - I've always heard one of those things writers aren't supposed to do is give 2 different characters the same (or similar) names.

So I thought maybe there is some hidden connection between the Lizzies.

Except both Lizzys bar and Lizzy Wizzy ARE from the lore.

Possibly just the case where developers tried to tie "a bit too much" lore to Lizzie, ending up creating all this "long history" bit, but since it required a bit of history range, they've decided that they will have 2 Lizzies, instead. Possibly, both originally assumed to be the same person, but ended up split in 2 for the sake of lore continuity.

From what i understand Lizzy Wizzy is actually meant to be the real life artist GRIMES. Lizzy wizzy is her ingame persona. You are correct they are different people !

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Borden was the original owner of Lizzies Bar. When the Tyger Claws killed her back in 2067 there where massive riots in the area and the Moxes were formed and took over the bar.

Lizzy Wizzy, (Elisabeth Wissenfurth) is a artist and celebrity. The turning point in her career came in 2071, when she cybermodified her looks to an erotic re-imagining of Snow White........
