It's just been one massive disappointment after another on the romance front. I'm currently on my first playthrough and also playing as a straight male. Was planning on romancing Judy, but she swings the other way unfortunately. Then I met Takemura. Thought he'd be a nice option as a female, before I found out he wasn't even available. As a nomad I thought Panam would be a good match, until I had to deal with her. Already made the decision though so I'm going to follow through, albeit begrudgingly.
Takemura is basically the embodiment of a samurai, with a similar mindset of honor, dedicated and loyal to a fault. Conscripted into Arasaka's forces out of poverty from one of the worst districts in Japan. Becoming the Emperor's bodyguard. He's impressive.
Very true. That can be applied to any of the characters or anyone, really. Our culture and nationality often dictates our tastes. But sometimes people are fascinated by the exotic. That's were our personal preference comes in and me, I love all things Japan. I've lived there and speak the language, so it's easy for me to be enamoured with Takemura.
Yes. She's a lesbian. Unfortunately. Wish she swung both ways.
The tats are a major turn off.
It's America and modern Cyberpunk America at that, don't think it's possible to escape that.
Don't think Panam is as heavily inked if at all. I don't recall seeing any. But then, I didn't take showers with her. Stopped after the scene in the Basilisk.
I was into Panam until she started getting all dramatic all the time texting and stuff
It may be a bug or an oversight, but Panam is at the bottom of the list because of the Tower.
(Nobody in CP'77 makes it high enough to be considered for my Vs, but she's ranked rock bottom all the same.)
Same. Got me thinking she was a Guinea pig for a very untalented tattoo artist in-training who was just practicing all the generic and black-out drunk tattoo ideas.
