Game crashing and closing during mission "Brigitte and the Black Barrier"

My game is closing right after V enters the ice bath and starts talking to Brigitte, when it cuts to the flashback scene the game just closes. I've already tried restoring and verifying the game files through Steam and reinstalling it but it didn't work. What to do?
