That guide above could be bit outdated even it says it was updated Oct 2023. I haven't got any sort of mantis blades from that box in 2.x versions what I remember. Or maybe it is bit random what you get there.

Anyway I know one place where I have gotten always free mantis blades, but they are not iconic and I think the level depends on the level you are. In one of the last gigs given by Regina you are supposed to rescue one person from a Mox warehouse. The cyberspycho there drops Tier 5 blades.

There is a clothing shop, when visited and leaving, you may get a 'side quest'. After that side quest you will meet one that once was a Cyberpsycho, but is no more. If you provoke, and manage to defeat, that one you get iconic blades. I do not know if it is level locked, only did it once after finishing the main story. You will know who once you meet the one

You can sneak up behind them and use a takedown to kill them. Make sure to use a NON-LETHAL kill or they WILL NOT DROP. Caps because those 2 points are important.

I don't think it's level locked, you just have to visit the clothing shop once. The second time will start the side quest.

Yeah its the second visit that the attack happens. Just remember you need to murderize the maxtec lady for the blades

Oh those, they lay around after you disabled a Cyberpsycho. You can easily miss them if not searching on the right place, but those are not iconic. You can find them after you saved a guy that is stuck inside a container, who hid himself for a sexy Cyberpsycho who he was dating. Personally I rarely use mantis blades, Katana is faster, uses less stamina, and downs an enemy faster

Eddies are so easy to get, you don't need free ones.

dogtown dropboxes might also contain them, iirc they do contain implants on occasion but thats a luckbased mission

Eddies are easy to get in this game, it's really just getting the SC and being high enough level to purchase them the only real hard part
