Mod recommendations.
Hello there, I was thinking about replaying the game, now that the expansion dropped and was wondering about some mods that you, peeps, may recommend. Doesn't have to be of any specific category, just drop anything you find useful, interesting, fun, whatever.

I use Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET) a lot. And I really like Fixers Hidden Gems as it really makes you expore Night City. Both of those mods are available on the Nexus site.

Yep concur with Wyodinosaur - defo get CET & both Fixer's Hidden Gems were a good way to wind down having finished the game/PL last playthrough.

If you've already uncovered some of the gems, would "Fixers Hidden Gems" highlight the remaining ones? Or does it reboot them all up (like a restart)? I think I'd like to try this mod out, since I'm pretty much done with my first play through. :]

Yes, it will tell you that you might have come across it and ask you to open the note you found (it tells you what the title of the note is btw), after that it will update and conclude the Gem and move to the next.

The other nice thing of Gems is that you can set the rewards for it, be it XP, cash or SC. I turn them down very low but its all your choice and thats really nice.
There is also a Gems for Pacifica (PL), btw which is not included in the original one.

Nicee. Thank you. I couldn't find any information on how it worked if you already found some of the gems. Much appreciated, choom. :Catexec:

Immersive First Person and Better Camera Auto are my must have mods, especially second one as it lets you change fov for first person driving.
Nova LUT Pure + Nova LUT - ENV (PT) because I love how it changes colors.
Lean Anywhere and Sit Anywhere for IMMERSION :)
Jab Begone (Arm Injection Removal) to remove that nasty scar made by Viktor.
Also I really enjoy mods that add new vehicles like BMW M8 Competition coupe, Ferrari Purosangue, Kawasaki Ninja H2, Bentley Bentayga, Nissan Silvia S15, Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R, Mercedes Benz c63s AMG.

While I do have a couple mods, the one that I really felt was missing after a fresh installation was "Immersive First Person"
And "Live in Night City", but that one might be a bit hard to get running, depending on your computer skills.

Well, I've been modding Bethesda games for over a decade now, I think I should be able to deal with a trickier mod or two.

I would not be without Koroshi Night Vision, Ping Tags Enemies, Smarter Scrapper or Vehicle No Despawn. I also run a lot of the High-Res NPC mods that make major NPCs 4K resolution.

But really, you are going to get a lot of subjective impressions here. You'd do better to just browse Nexusmods.com and look at Trending or Most Endorsed to see what appeals to you.

Real time 24 h mod -- 1:1 is a bit too much but much better than original time speed. Just wish there is a 6 to 12 h mod.

All Iconic Katana with mod slots -- it's just uncomfortable seeing bland Iconic Katana. Put whatever you like except the one increase critical when you jump slash in sky becuase it will crash the game.

Weather Probability Rebalance -- I use this so I can get lot of unique weather more frequently. Acid rain, fog, rain, sandstorm, etc. Visiting Jackie's tomb during these weather is really feeling

No need to say Equipment EX, redrext... etc bunch of modding must mod. You are a return player you know how female body type mod install and adjust, clothing etc

Unlock Me The Mods 2.1

worst mod i have ever downloaded, i can't play without it now.

Just make no sense for me in a shooter to not be able to remove a silencer or scope from a gun...

Be sure to sell or destroy the unneeded stuff. There is a limit for the backpack. The game won't handle having too many scopes in there...

There is this one mod, i forgot the name, where it build Cyberpsychosis over time.
The more people you kill the less human you are and more glitches you have till in the end you go Cyberpsycho and just kill everything at random.
Best mod by far in my opinion

'wannabee edgerunner, a simple cyberpsychosis mod' is the one you mean.
There is also a companion mod to help you deal with the cyberpsychosis elements.

Myself, I can't live without my 'no walk auto disable' mod
I made it thru the lifepath start and rescuing Sandra Dorset, no problem.
But once I was free to wander about...it started to annoy me that every few steps, I kept defaulting to jog again.
This mod lets me KEEP walking lol.

I'm also still on 2.02 because the metro mod.
I don't want it to be get on, hit station, get off. I LIKE to sit on the train and ride about. Change my mind between destinations.
Sure, I'm missing out on being chased by gangoons for hit jobs, playing my pocket radio and seeing other folks on the ride....(Plus, seeing Jonny interacting with the train...but I've watched those on YouTube lol)
But I get to keep my train rides, my platforms and my 'i'll get off when I want to' option lol.

Night City Alive with NPCs riding motorcycles and gang factions in cars is a must have for me. Be warned though - if you use Psycho Crowds or other population boosters, you'll probably want to go for one of the mellower versions otherwise there'll be firefights on every block.

ah, so a standard Friday Night Firefight then :P
just an average day in NC (tabletop, at least for some chooms, whose GMs are pro's)

there is also one called 'My V is Alive' which allows your V to give out snappy come backs and one liners during combat.
