Does this game support Ultrawide?
I am thinking of buying game in about 2 weeks when hopefully most of the bugs have been patched out (was originally going to buy at release.)

I have an Ultrawide monitor. Does the game support it?
Also, what about HDR?
Ray tracing?

Hor+ gameplay and dialogue.[13] UI elements may be cropped or inaccessible.[14][15][16] Sometimes, image is cropped to 16:9, opening menu will fix this in some cases.[17] In-game screenshot maker's UI is broken but can be used with the keyboard. Images are always crops to 16:9 1920x1080.[18]

It doesn't fully support 3440x1440 resolution, so dont waste your time with UW

Yes, but there are some glitches in UI in 21:9

Yes but some menus are 16:9.

Sort of but not really. You'll want to use a regular aspect ratio, especially with ray tracing on. RTX makes the game look better than pretty much anything on the market though.

hdr is dependent of your monitor and windows , ray tracing is in the options

How exactly is RTX connected to aspect ratio? :wht:

Having an ultrawide monitor myself, the game plays (usually) ok. However, I often had to restart cause the screen was cropped, and the messages/hints were off the screen. In total I would say as good as a bad mod would make it work...

with 3440 × 1440 I have black parts on the border of the screen, same behaviour has using as 16/9 resolution with an ultrawide screen. is it possible to fix it ?

I hope 1.2 will fixe those problems

I am running 3440 X 1440 with RTX on using DLSS set to quality operating under a 3090. The HDR option for the game is bad, so I do not use it. I see an FPS of 58 to 72. Cut screens are cropped.

My two cents: I use an Alienware AW3418DW and have no problems running ultra-wide. Some menus are not in ultra-wide but hey, you don't play the game in the menus! RTX works fine, for me. I don't have HDR therefore don't use it.

I'm running at 5120x1440 on a Samsung 49" and a GeForce RTX 2080. RayTracing at max chugs a bit, but turning it off and just going with regular graphics (at 1 level down from ultra) works fine.

Not had any problems with it being super widescreen.
