Recently, when I finished my old files, I felt very annoyed that as soon as I got into the car I called, I would encounter an incident that attacked me.
Just like Sony's PSV, although some functions have new functions, it is a good thing to use them appropriately. However, in order to emphasize the function and let the game add the function at will, it will destroy the fun and make the game very annoying.
In my old file, I saved the leader of the Uzumaki Gang (the blue light will turn to yellow after leaving) and all the events were completed without being discovered at all and without killing anyone. It took a lot of time to complete., in this case will also encounter revenge...
By the way...at that time
If you pick up an NPC and walk over the stairs or hit an object, the NPC will die very easily - -...
nah I'm good.
My guess is that you po'ed a lot of different gangs and now they're are stockpiled against you. Just defeat the one after you and the game will quit spawning that gang leaving you to do the same for another gang... once you defeat them all they'll likely leave you alone. Or at least... that's my guess.
does anyone know of any mods to stop this from happening entirely?
So, walk us through this.... If you stand out in the badlands, call your car, and get in it, a few seconds later a bunch of gangs turn up and you die?
Or are you trying to jack a car in the street?, That would tag police, and it's possible any gang members nearby in view go hostile because of it? But that wouldn't trigger gang cars to turn up.....
i'm not sure about middle of the desert but imagine this, you finish a gig (in this case I had just done the first cyberpsychosis one) and as soon as I sat inside the car I had already been surrounded by 3 cars from some random gang... I dont really know the gang's names anymore (last I played was a LOOONG time ago), they had a bunch of bald dudes that teleported around or something.
the other time I had just gotten in the car as well but I got surrounded (3 cars, again) by some group that wouldn't even leave their cars, they just kept shooting from their windows. this one was right after I logged into the game, I was leaving my mega building house so it shouldn't be a consequence of any quest I had completed.
even still, I would understand if the people that came after me where from the gang I had just pegged but it doesn't seem to matter, all that matters is that I get into the car and just make it go forward a little bit, they'll spawn out of nowhere.
completely unrelated quests shouldn't spawn gang attacks, especially cyberpychosis jobs and the like. gangs have no hand in there, at least not one that should involve me.
I remember when I first started playing, which was after 2.1, there were a lot of attacks, but then some patch apparently toned them down, if I remember correctly? They mostly ceased, anyway.
I'm about 150 hours into my 2nd game now, and I've only had 2 gang attacks, and those were after I did some gigs involving those gangs. I drive everywhere, and never fast travel. Playing on hard difficulty.
All i can think of is you getting too close to a few gang members while doing the gigs, but the game doesn't spawn cars in that situation, so it can't be that....
Maybe verify your game files again, just to be sure? I know you said you re-installed but it doesn't sound like intended behaviour...
The only time it's different is in the Badlands, where a 1 star wanted level will often bring Militech out in force on top of the NCPD vehicles.
My experience too. Driving everywhere, but im on Very Hard. Very few attacks, even after Gigs.
The new road attacks are a result of you doing a gig against one of the gangs "noisily" ie. causing an alert. That will cause them to attack on the road once you next try driving a car.
Solution: don't cause an alert :D
well, then i'm just gonna start dropping grenades...
go big or go home, lets see if I can crash my game by summoning them with grenades LOL
