'Killing in the Name' quest bugged?

its telling me to read a message from an unknown number, but when I do the quest doesn't update and the message is still highlighted with the yellow '!'. is it glitched?

If your reply to that is "who?", then you have not.

The quest can only be completed after you meet Nancy, whom you will meet durring another questline.

It might be your game, I remember playing this quest not to long ago and never had any problems with it.

Specifically after the quest "A like supreme". It is not possible before this.

probably idk. Ive done the first part where you receive the first message from the unknown number, its just stopped working at the second message
