First playthrough, necessary QoL mods ?

I recently downloaded cyberpunk 2077 again after an initial 2-3 hour stint years ago, shortly after release. Back then I really disliked the combat feel, driving felt clunky and the FOV inside a car was horrible.

I looked into some mods, and man there's a plethora of them.

So far I'm toying with the idea of going with a small amount of mods that make the game feel more immersive. I've come across Hardcore77, which cranks up the damage given and damage taken by a lot.

Are there any other mods you can recommend ?
I don't care much about cosmetics, more so about gameplay and immersion.

If you would have to break it down to a couple of necessary mods, which ones would you choose ?

I suggest you go on Nexusmods and check "Welcome to Night City" collection
It keep the vanilla feeling adding a lot of QOL and it's very stable, constantly updated and deeply curated by the group managing it.
