Weaponized vehicles not shooting

A lot of the time I can't get weaponized vehicles to shoot under combat situations (or draw my weapon while driving under combat situations). Is there something I am doing wrong, or is this only under very specific situations, or a glitch?

Only time mine don't shoot for me is when they're reloading...

Have you got a key assigned to deploy the weapons? I think the default is Left Alt?

I do-left alt as well. Sometimes it works sometimes not

sometimes i have to stop steering a vehicle then press alt for the weapon to engage

I don't think so because I have been able to do this before, but it isn't consistent

I think if you have all 2 handed weapons equipped you can't draw a weapon. Doesn't explain car weapons, though.

I use a wired Xbox controller for Driving, though. Use a Razer Orbweaver and Mouse for everything else. Haven't really noticed anything weird, on my end. only hang up I run into is not being able to walk fast after driving a car, because the Neutral Drift sucks on my controller; so I have to tap the analog stick when it happens. Vibration on the controller can get annoying, too because... buuuurrr. while it sits on the table.
