5090 hype
waiting for the 5090 to replay this game with native path tracing max settings, realistic graphics mods. I am ready for the greatest graphics of any game ever.

i'll be hype for a 5090 when it doesn't cost $5090 :)

Saving up for the 5070 myself. I'm glad that I skipped the 40xx series honestly.
you don't need a 5090 for that. Already using path tracing with all settings on max, with photorealistic shaders LUT & ENV (Dreampunk), plus a reshade and a bunch of 4K texture mods.

Granted, I need to turn on frame gen and super resolution to get above 60 FPS with my RTX 4090, but it's more than smooth enough for a single player game for me.

haha same. Will be interesting to see the performance. (early next year?)

Consider an upgraded monitor as well. 1080->1440p is really nice. 4k would be _really_ nice. Probably quite a bit cheaper than a 5090 will be for quite a while.

It’s a shame you can’t take a 5090 with you anywhere to play your games.

I maxed out every single setting including all RT and PT options and I'm getting over 100fps at 3440x1440 on an RTX4080 with DLSS and FG, frequently hitting the 142FPS cap. This game runs insanely fast compared to anything else I played.

Are there any graphical mods that demanding so you think you'd need a 5090 for them? Or you're playing in 4K? I'm curious to try some, but I can't find anything on Nexus, it's all boobs, butts and cars, no graphics mods. Few LUT mods and reshade profiles only.

The 5000 series will heavily rely on DLSS, FG and AI tricks to boost performance. We're not going back to raw GPU power, it's all AI hacks from now on :( 5000 series power and heat will be ungodly too, the only chilling feature of 5000 series will be the price :( Dell leak suggests that the 5090 may draw close to 1000W of power 8(

Lol my 4090 at native 4k maxed out with path tracing gets a solid 30fps! It’s amazing, I’m expecting the 5090 to bump that up to ATLEAST mid 40s

I think this post is a joke matey, that being said I’m pretty certain 5000 series gpus from nvidia are just rumours as the 4090 is such a beast gpu still and will be for a good few years

Edit: OP specifically mentioned native, if you played in native 4k without dlss and fg you will struggle to maintain 30fps

AMD completely tapping out of the RT race in RDNA4 is bad lmao. they got out tech'd by Nvidia so much, no one buys them anymore. won't be surprised if 5090 is $2k++ in retail.

Yeah, I figured the OP was being facetious, but there was some truth in their post as your own comment confirmed that even 4090 struggles without NVIDIA AI tricks.

I'm glad I decided against getting a 4K when my old display was dying. 4K speed penalty is too much right now.

And, it always starts with rumors :)

I'm glad I got a 4070, the 30xx series was the one I regretted deeply buying.

My 4070 Ti is quiet and very fast while my 3070 Ti was noisy as hell, more expensive and didnt deliver the performance I was looking for.

But, as always, YMMV.

Actually, the 2080 was hot garbage that I regret the most. Barely faster than a 1080. 3080 Was actually decent, an improvement over the lousy 2080, except for the extortionist price during the pandemic which killed its value. If it was $800 as it was supposed to be, it would have been different.

But the 4080 was a game changer because of Frame Generation. I know it's a trick but I'm not seeing any disadvantages to it, I'm not an obsessive pixel peeper like some people tend to be.

The 3080 was noisy because of stupidly aggressive fan curve and that could be easily changed with Afterburner. I had to do the same even with 4080, it was still too loud for my liking.

yup I'm happy with my 4070ti super. And honestly I think i'm done with the pc arms race at least for the next 10 years or so. These things are getting as expensive as a Les Paul
