On a good sale ... never pay full price for an old game, whether or not you can ignore the flaws.

It's absolutely worth it, even at full price. If you really get into the game and do it all, maybe even replay, your cost will be pennies for hour of play. But I hear there's a sale in June (?) so you can wait for that too.

All I can say is that I have definitely gotten my money's worth from this game. In my opinion, it's a great game. Right now it's my favourite.

If you can, get the Phantom Liberty DLC as it really enhances the game.

I haven't finished it but its one of those games you just have to have and play. It wouldn't be right to consider yourself a gamer and missed out on this.

I got the game when it was on sale for 50% and I can definitely say the value it holds and the experience it gave me was definitely worth the money I spent for it, possibly even more

Depends on what you're looking for OP. Personally, I say sort of.

- For the story, I guess - if story's your main draw, then I'm sure that you'll enjoy this one.
- For the world, not really, unless you're a fan of looking glasses.
- For the graphics, sure at a discount, as there are plenty of high fidelity games out now.
- For the sand in the box, not really to my liking, but at least the apartments are interactive.
- For the modding scene, sure, at a discount - as mentioned, the game is 4 years old now.

It's not old. But I agree, NEVER but a game on full price.

even without the DLC this game is worth it, the storytelling and plot is great, the DLC just sealed the deal because it is so good, you feel like James Bond, you feel the emotion runs through your veins as you finished the game and feeling empty without you realize it you need to play again for different ending because each ending is so powerful and depressing.

These kinds of posts, albeit harmless, sometimes confuses me.
I have no way of knowing what you like or prefer in a game, in order to properly measure up the validity of any opinion I or anyone else here may have about the game in particular. lol

A more specific question would be appreciated, choomba.
(Elaborate what you're looking for in a game)

I will always say that Cyberpunk is the best game I have ever played on PC (and I've played many great games on PC) and that it's my favorite game to date.

It fits my style of gaming in almost every aspect, so I'm a bit biased. I've been going through source books, comics and animated features (Edgerunners) to gain better understanding of what Night City is about, beyond all that is already explained in the game.

But as much as I adore this game, I'm apprehensive to tell anyone, you'll feel the same way I do about it.

"bro get it! you're gonna love it!" and watch you end up hating it.
I've seen people say this game is flat out boring and just unimpressive to them.
Taste is subjective, so be cautious when taking opinions from gonks like me.

I personally feel this game is f%$&ing amazing.
You either get it and go full deep diving in it's lore, or you don't and just stay on the surface and treat it like any ol' game, until you're done and toss it aside.

Worth it?

To me? Absof-ckinglutely, man. It rocks.

It's a great way to escape reality (into a sh-ttier, more violent and degenerate reality lol) from time to time. The story is quite compelling, emotional and tense, with multiple consequences possible, depending on your choice of action. :Catexec:

Overwhelming positive
So happy🙏 I know the game was an absolute dumpster fire when it released, leaving bugs aside even gameplay was kinda meh, playing melee was so bad with forcing killmoves, wearing ugly clothes for armor was bad, persk were bad, played it when 2.0 released on gog and oh boy the game is easly masterpiece now, dlc was amazing, can't wait for new Witcher now and hope they don't make the same mistake twice

There is never going to be a NG+. Nor is there going to be multiplayer.
