Deleted Save

So i wanted to delete some Quicksaves since they annoyed me. But because im dumb i accidentally deleted a Main Save as well. I already tried to look into the Cloud Save to see if i can recover it. And i did, i recovered both the sav.dat and meta.9. However if i try to load the save it says "Corrupted data". Can i still get my Save back or did i ♥♥♥♥ up and lose everything?

Pretty sure it's gone forever...sorry. This is what cloud saves are for.

It would be nice if there was a different warning when deleting (either accidentally or on purpose) Manual Saves.

I think the game also keeps up to 15 autosaves, so it should be able to retrieve those, unless you also deleted those?

Is it possible that your deleted save is still in your recycle bin?

You need to download the whole folder from the cloud saves.

It's 20 autosaves.

I also often copy my saves to a safe location using this batch command.

xcopy /y "C:\Users\MyUsername\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077" "H:\Cyberpunk 2077" /E

As i said i deleted all Aotosaves and Quicksaves since they annoyed me. So yeah dont have any.

The thing is, that wont work. I have 3 different Chars, so i have 3 different saves for the chars. I still have the one for my Main, and third. Yet i accidentally deleted the one from my second. Its hard to know which belong to which char, im pretty sure i got the correct ones but its hard to tell since the ones i try are corrupted.

Ok. So quick update for those who are interested. Might help you if you make the same Braindead mistake. I took the Saves i assumed were from the Char in question out of the Steam Cloudsave (they were thankfully still there ACT FAST tho). And i put them into the Save File Folder inside a CD Project/ Cyberpunk File. I made a new folder inside there, renamed the Saves into sav.dat and meta.9. like they are for the other saves. If you launch the game it will say "corrupted data", however if you press Continue instead of Load, it will try to Load the corrupted file. It took like 5 minutes to load, but it did successfully load the saves i put in. Afterwards i saved on a new file, and deleted the corrupted one. And now it seems to work. Thanks for all the answers tho =D.

I have no idea. It didnt detect them at first. I tried to relaunch multiple times, and it never worked. However once i renamed them to the same/similar thing like the other Main saves are called inside the other folders, it detected it as "Corrupted Save", yet it made it able to be loaded for some reason. My save could be bugged now, but the from the short amount of time i was ingame it seemed to be all normal.
