Can't get stable "above" 60 fps
Ok.So i have a decent PC with Ryzen 7 5700X,Asus TUF RTX 3080 Ti and 16 Gb of RAM,ASRock B550M Pro4 and nvme m.2 SSD.
The problem is that the game dips below 60 fps in many areas regardless the settings and resolution.
My temps are fine.

What resolution are you using and are you trying to run any of the ray tracing options? Try playing around with the DLSS settings try quality or balanced if you are trying to run the game @4k try 1440p.

Some parts of the game are really demanding especially in Dogtown

Running: intel i7 - 11k, RTX 3070 TI, 32 Gb ram, nvme m.2 SSD
"Crowd Control" - Medium, RTX and DLSS -OFF, Most other setting on "High" or "Auto."
1440p & 165 Hz = An Average of 87 FPS

RTX, DLSS & Crowd Control Seem to make the biggest difference.
Update BIOS along with other updates.

I'm playing at 1440p.Even at 1080p i'm getting some drops below 60.With or without RTX.
Also DLSS Balanced didn't helped much,

try and gauge cpu/gpu usage too, also see if lowering crowd density fixes it

dude you dont update bios just cause of low fps in one game.

try tampering with nvidia control panel settings and see if that helps. you could also try overclocking your gpu and turn on xmp in bios if your motherboard and ram supports it. also could lower crowd density like other comments suggest.

Yeah I wouldn't touch your BIOS if you're not experiencing problems anywhere else. You could end up creating a bigger problem and BIOS has nothing to do with game performance issues. I also say you leave that alone.

For me, turning off ray tracing entirely fixed the issue. I had to restart the game and create a new character to see the difference though. It seems to be some sort of weird bug with my old save file.

Thx for the help guys.Just reinstalled Windows and it solved the problem.
Dunno what was the reason of the problem, because I only had steam and 2 games installed and nothing else on my PC.

Sometimes -- more rarely than people claim but it happens nonetheless -- graphics drivers can fail to update properly and vestiges of the previous software can remain, making graphics behave oddly. That may be what happened.

You'd think BIOS would have nothing to do with game performance, but it can.
Had to update my BIOS when Doom Eternal launched for it to even launch.

CPU microcode/instruction set updates are a thing and some games/engines may require them to run.

Granted I've only had this happen twice in my just shy of 30 years of PC gaming.

Edit: obviously not the OP's issue in this case though.

My temps are fine.

Using a 5700x, 3080 10GB and I'm able to get 60+ stable in NC using path tracing, drops to 40 in parts of PL.
Using DLSS tweaks to upscale from a custom internal resolution of 1422x800 to 1440p.
See the following post for settings and custom config files.
