Greater than 1500 armor?

I have 1578 or so. On the bar it says the top is 1500. I know Cyberware has issues with more than 450.

My question is does Armor have the same or additional issues?

I just got hit with the You can't do that now bug so I am wondering if they are connected. For all I know it might be the Legendary encounter near the secret entrance to dog town that did it. I popped just as I killed Ross Umber.

Its been a while since I looked into this but I think armor was basically capped around 1600. It has diminishing returns as it goes up higher.

What you should invest in at this point is improving mitigation to stack with your armor for extra dmg reduction.
