Happy Together Bugged?

The quest is stuck at "Try speaking to Barry in a few hours." If I spent as much as 1 hour waiting via the Skip Time option, the quest changes to "Speak to Barry" but when I get there he has already committed suicide...

Works fine for me, and I did some gigs while waiting. No time skip.

For me, when the prompt changes from "Try speaking in a few hours" to "Speak to Barry" (skipping time or doing other things) the cops are already crying at his door. The game gives me no time to get there.
