If it is like that, could it be an idea to wait until you're higher level and have higher health before doing this, or something? Or take some health boosting consumables?
I've no idea, though. I did this very late at lvl 60, and things went well.
Good luck!
I have built my levels up and I am also at Level 60 with all attributes maxed, and 35 Headhunter, 45 Net Runner, 34 Shinobi, 27 Solo and 37 Engineer, so not low down those specs at all :(
My other attributes on the main menu are:
Edge Runner 90%
American Blues 60%
Running on Fumes 56%
My Street Cred is 50
I honestly have no idea how these affect missions, but it would be a shocking flaw in the game design if we cannot finish the game because something is too low or too high, especially as there is no advice in the game regarding this :(
I'm hoping the devs will interject!
Have a great day mate, all the best, from England :)
I tried a google yesterday of your title ("Talking about a Revolution - Relic malfunction when starting this quest causes death"), and I found a lot of comments on reddit and elsewhere about a common bug, that causes the malfunction effect (the blurry vision and such) to not go away when it should, so it lasted 'forever'. No mention of it causing death, though.
Should try to contact official support about this. Such a big company probably has a professional support department, and I would guess this is interesting to them.
