Help with Meredith stout

I am trying to call her in order to get the extra credits from the militech shard, but no matter how many times i call, she never picks up, has anyone ever encountered this issue and if so, how did you fixed it. I already tried to reload a previous save and quit the game, but nothing seens to work.

This is not my first playthrough, i did not make things out of order, i was wondering if this was related to any bug brough with the 2.11 update or something akin to it.

I just did that stuff in a new run in the last few days, so it's pretty fresh and definitely 2.11, and slightly modded.

I am not sure if there's a time limit for calling her. Did you do a lot of wandering around after getting the quest but before calling her?

I remember calling her like as soon as that was an option, but I didn't go meet her for hours.

Already fixed it, for some reason immervise vik was the cause, even if the mod was up to date with the game version.

Might help posterity that this topic exists then. Mod issues are notoriously difficult to trace without a lot of trial and error.

Immersive Vik is updated for 2.1, but not 2.11. That may have an effect.

I see you got it sorted, but just wanted to mention that I got the money (10 000) by clicking the shard in the inventory long after the mission was over.

I don't remember if this was mentioned anywhere during the mission, but I only noticed it because I was clicking on stuff in the inventory to see if something happened when I did (was new to the game )

But I think I killed her, though, so it was hard to call her

Do not pay with Militech card when you are area where Dum Dum ask sit down and Jackie refuse to sit start fight with every malestrom scumbacs but not with Brick you can relese him from jail fight with Royce at end area ! Complite Pickup quest and after that copy Militech money shard you get Synapse burnout items and then crack that Militech money shard and voila you have 10000 eddies !

There are multiple ways to finish that mission, and the best one is hacking the Militech card and giving it to Royce and fight your way with malestrom to defeat Meredith Militech goons and save brick

Sorry, but that's nones and the worst choice you can have for this! If want to get the maximum payout you have to hack the Chip so far so right, but the rest is BS. "Sorry..."

First st all...

You should create a manual save before you enter the Maelstrom-Cyber-Nekro-Bat-Cave-Hideout, what ever you want to call it. xD And keep this save as long Meredith will not contact you after the Prologue this mission did contain some weird bugs could happen.

• Call & meet Meredith and take the Chip.
  
  
• Use the option to kill Royce after talking to Dum Dum to get https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Chaos If you keep him alive and will pay with your "own money of gave Royce the hacked chip or you tell Royce that there is Virus on it" you will get https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Doom_Doom if you follow Johnny's Questline when killing Dum Dum in the Club. (Note that there is a massive Bug issue, so save before entering the Club.) Also note that you don't get the Iconic from Meredith this way! The how to is up to you, but at the end bot Weapons are crap but Chaos is more useful than Doom Doom as long you don't get Lizzie. • If you choose to kill Royce: Don't forget/miss to free Brick while fighting your way out of the Maelstrom hideout so he will help you while following Johnny's Questline.
  
  
• When outside talk to Meredith and choose the option that you "maybe" have to repeat this someday. If there is no option to answer this, with Patch 2.11 anymore reload the save while talking to Dum Dum and pay Royce the "unhacked" Chip.
  
  
• Now call DEX and it's important that you will tell him that YOU keeping the money for yourself. After this it's time to Hack the Chip... Also, this is some part ppl. Having issues with... For some the chip was disappearing after talking to Meredith for others not, (for me this works 3 times, last time with Patch 2.1). So in any case you have to "not hack the Chip before you fight your way out and have talked to Meredith & Dex" and again otherwise she will not contact you after the Prologue also important for this is that ROYCE have to die anywise. While freeing BRICK is just a little bonus adjustment you don't should miss if you choose to kill Royce, and this part & choice of this mission witch has no affect to Meredith.

Don't hack the Militech card! Do what Meredith wants, pay with the card (there's a virus on it) and there shall be an exquisite reward. She calls you later, you have sex with her in the no-tell-motel and you get a melee weapon called Sir Phalustiff, which is essentially a massive vibrator.

I definitely have to try that option on my next run

I actually started a new run now, before I was done with the previous one, as I was such a noob for a long time in the original run. Female corpo now!

Oh wait, can we have sex with Meredith as female V?
