This. Workshop won't magically make mods not break because of patches. They'll still need to be updated for the new versions.
(and really, CP's modding scene is pretty speedy to update for patches. You mostly just need new versions of the core mods - ArchiveXL, TweakXL, redscript, Codeware, etc - and they get updated really fast 95% of the time.)
I don't like auto-update.
Mods and their dependencies are often updated at different times, and sometimes mod updates break the mods or create new bugs due to changes in the code or mod language.
yeah i tend to wait for a while till everything is caught up then update all at once, auto updating mods can break things without you ever really knowing till its too late
CDPR is done working on CP2077.
