What I can say though is that pressing the 'lean forward' button while driving sticks your tyres to the road like glue. Great to avoid the fishtailing but beware of turning at high speeds.

edit:
I wouldn't mess with any of the other values though, just upping the grip value will fix any vehicle's traction.
I personally drive in first person only using keyboard/mouse and have the sensitivity set to 25 which is the sweet spot for me personally. This might be very different for you, depending on your driving style and wether you prefer to drive in third person though.
Do you use controller. I love that car but I’m racing it’s too slippery. How do you take corners with it?
I also like the Porsches!
Use AWD cars like Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech if you don't like oversteer.
The Rayfield Caliburn is excellent for tight races in city streets. The grip is good and well, it's a very fast car.
I prefer my Quadra Turbo-R for high speed drives. It's grip is not as good but I've learned to control my sharp turns and regulate my speed before reaching these turns.
Gotta respect the speed you're pushing like you would in a real car.
Otherwise, you'll be running into things and spin out of control (like you would in real life).
I highly recommend to use a control pad for driving. How much pressure you put on the gas really reflects how much control you gain or lose with any vehicle. It's mentioned in the game somewhere too.
You'll have city vehicles that are good for cruising around (low engine hum), some that are good for racing and those that are good for off-road (with variations of armor/weapon or standard).
If you intend to travel off-road, use an off-road vehicle, like the Javelina. If you really want to use a Javelina on clean paved roads, practice makes perfect. You'll have to really monitor your speeds before your reach a turn and learn how to control your drifts. So you won't be as fast. It's not easy at first, but with practice, you can actually achieve decent control of off-road vehicles on such roads. I just wouldn't use them for racing or fleeing NCPD.
I love the look of the Avenger, but it's otherwise terrible. I'd drive it more if it didn't handle worse than that pickup from the Sinnerman missions
Everything else is good, just not Quadra's....
I'm M&K. Specifically, I think this particular green Avenger has better control than the others (at least compared to the chrome one you can buy). But like most muscles cars in any game, the rear likes to spin out of control on a sharp turn so it just comes down to quick-tapping the handbrake once or twice and steering opposite to the turn. Practise makes perfect.
To clarify, I like the car because it's fun to drive - not necessarily the easiest. My comment was more about the leaning forward being useful to help your tyres find their grip.
After that, of course the Outlaw GTS and Caliburn Murkmobile are nice to drive, and easier to get.
