I’ve ever only known CDPR as a studio that makes singleplayer experiences because that’s where their area of expertise lies.
But they made Gwent and that’s a multiplayer game!
Two things:
1. Gwent was developed on Unity specifically because REDengine doesn’t have multiplayer functions.
2. Gwent is very clearly not on the same scale of ambition as Cyberpunk 2077 or Witcher 3. Equating Gwent with CP77/TW3 would be like equating a chicken with a T-Rex. No. Just no.
Imo, CDPR would be better off releasing a standalone Cyberpunk themed MMORPG, if they want to go the multiplayer route.
You evidently missed the part where I stated that Gwent is clearly not on the same scale as this game or Witcher:
