Weapon Mods
I feel pretty dumb right now since I'm sure this is something simple I'm just overlooking, but how do I add/remove weapon mods from guns?

What's even more embarrassing is that I already added a scope to one of my guns early on in the game, but now that I've picked up a bunch more loot including scope and muzzle attachments and of course -- TONS of pew-pews -- I don't know how to swap the mods on and off those weapons.

I can see which guns have available slots, and what mods match those available slots, but do I have to go to my stash, a weapon vendor, or just click something in my inventory.

Again, I'm sure it's something simple I'm overlooking, so be kind. :) I'm new at this.

I believe the devs released a patch a while back disabling removing mods from guns. If you want to get around that, simple mod to do so here. Add and remove them any time u like

Weapon mods are permanent once you add them. Cannot remove them anymore.

Just view the weapon that has slots then click on the empty slot and it will show you what mods you have, click on mod to install it.

Thank you both  Big help!

Albiet super irritating since scopes and silencers can definitely be added and removed IRL. Going to grab the mod from nexusmods. ;)

You can still remove scopes and silencers by clicking on them with the middle mouse button, same as clothes. Only the other mods are permanent.

Yeah, Weapon Mods is it`s own category. They are neither muzzle nor scope attachments, but are somehow built in to the frame and severly change the way the weapon works, like making it non-lethal. I guess that`s why the devs decided to make them unremovable.
I wont use mods, but I sure would have liked the devs to not do this change, because finding the mods for non-lethal can be a nuisance now.
