Question for people that play using an X-Box controller.

Does anyone know a way to "holster" the weapons using the XB controller?

Keyboard mapping in game only shows the PC keyboard controls, so I keep my keyboard close, and have to take my hands off the controller to hit "B" on the PC keyboard (default holster key mapping) whenever I want to put my weapon away.

The only other workable option I've found so far is to leave one of my weapon slots empty and cycle through my weapons to the empty slot by pressing "Y" on the XB controller, but I'm not thrilled that I have to sacrifice a weapon slot to do that.

Any suggestions?

On my Xbox Elite 2 I double tap Y to put my current pistol away if I have it drawn.

and if you draw the weapon with another double tap Y it will run the first draw animation each time as well

Sounds about right. I say this, because you can optionally just double tap alt to holster your weapon. If Y is the controller's alt, then it should work the same.
