So pretty much, it's hard to say. If they say that it's in development though, then it probably is. Could plans change? Sure, but there haven't been any announcements that I've seen, and the PS6 is set for a 2026 or 2027 release.
Here's a link:

I had ps1 then I was on PC untill 2018 when I got ps4, and now I am thinking of buying ps5 pro seeing how pc and VR are getting more expensive and f-up by ♥♥♥♥♥ coro PC releases.
If ps6 comes out, which I really would love instead of cloud bs, I would get a disc pro version when it comes out, cause HDD versions arent that much different from cloud I guess.
Personally, I don't go anywhere near cloud gaming. All of my games are downloaded onto my hard drive through Steam or GoG. Even my saves are kept locally on my hard drive rather than on the cloud.
Mostly likely though, Cloud gaming is probably gonna be pushed at some point. I'll avoid it for as long as I can, but if everything gets forced onto the cloud, then that will be the day that I quit buying new games.
If GFN would become more popular it would be great since it supports mods etc. other than that like I said its just another way for large corpos to get you to sub to their bs.
It would/will be a disaster if it would become the only way to play, but it looks like thats what all the giants out there want ;/ Others will have to follow or die ;/
Well those people are naive to put it mildly. Any person who thinks it takes only 1.5 years to develop a full AAA game from start to finish is living in la-la land, lol.
