Hmm.... We'll see. The PS6 is already in development though, or last I checked at least.
Again I am no expert, but isnt that standard procedure ?

As in that could mean anything.
Consoles generally release every 6 to 7 years I think. I don't keep up much with Consoles, so I can't give you any major details beyond how the previous Consoles released. The PS2 was my last Console, after that I switched to PC gaming.

So pretty much, it's hard to say. If they say that it's in development though, then it probably is. Could plans change? Sure, but there haven't been any announcements that I've seen, and the PS6 is set for a 2026 or 2027 release.

Ok maybe your right xD

I had ps1 then I was on PC untill 2018 when I got ps4, and now I am thinking of buying ps5 pro seeing how pc and VR are getting more expensive and f-up by ♥♥♥♥♥ coro PC releases.
If ps6 comes out, which I really would love instead of cloud bs, I would get a disc pro version when it comes out, cause HDD versions arent that much different from cloud I guess.

Feel you.

Personally, I don't go anywhere near cloud gaming. All of my games are downloaded onto my hard drive through Steam or GoG. Even my saves are kept locally on my hard drive rather than on the cloud.

Mostly likely though, Cloud gaming is probably gonna be pushed at some point. I'll avoid it for as long as I can, but if everything gets forced onto the cloud, then that will be the day that I quit buying new games.

I played a few cloud games on phone and PC, cloud gaming is mostly tech giants crap, except for GeForce now, which I totally love, I played CP77 on that and if you like me just want that one game to run on a new PC for a while(without getting one xD) its awesome, its also grand if you can play at work on your phone ;p

If GFN would become more popular it would be great since it supports mods etc. other than that like I said its just another way for large corpos to get you to sub to their bs.

It would/will be a disaster if it would become the only way to play, but it looks like thats what all the giants out there want ;/ Others will have to follow or die ;/

People might think this means "Polaris" will come out in August of this year. That's not what a "project" is in this sense.

People assume that developers means every person working with an application when it might or might not include people who are supporting the game versus developing it.

These online magazines keep making guesses and making implications (and rarely admitting to doing either).

Well those people are naive to put it mildly. Any person who thinks it takes only 1.5 years to develop a full AAA game from start to finish is living in la-la land, lol.
