Check the recent posts for each framework mod on nexus. For a lot of people just updating/copying over the top to update isn't working.
Then it's a different dependency
I also don't use 100+ mods, just a few photomode pose mods with their dependencies. (Why CDPR didn't have a YOLO pose already seems silly to me.)
Vortex works very well if you use it correctly. Problems only crop up when a mod download is structured incorrectly by the mod creator, and those are easy to find and fix.
the constant updates are very annoying i will get rid of it until they move on to the next cyberpunk game.
ALSO: Mods can save data into save files, making them unplayable without the related mod. Your old modded saves may cause crashes, especially with a fully cleaned install.
Be aware that the majority are not experiencing constant crashes. That suggests there are unexpected things on the specific systems which experience constant crashes.
Always keep your gaming system clean, and simply not using an admin account all the time does wonders to keep things clean. You might be surprised how easily things drop stuff into your computer without your explicit say-so as an admin. Updated drivers and firmware won't do any good with an OS cluttered by junk.
