Cyberpunk 2077 Best Netrunners
I put together a tier list of Cyberpunk 2077's Netrunners. In order to be on the list, they have to be human and alive, at least, at the beginning of the game.

S Tier: Basically Net God
1. Song So Mi aka "Songbird" - NUSA's top Netrunner whose accomplisments are too spoilery.

A Tier: Best of the best.
2. Wilky LaGuerre aka "Slider" - Hacked the Blackwall to communicate with Songbird.
3. Bryce Mosley - Top Netwatch runner who trapped a cohort of VDBs.
4. Nix - Former Arasaka netrunner, Rogue's personal netrunner, hacked MaxTac in a few hours, and nearly hacked Bartmoss' deck.

B Tier: Highly proficient and sought after.
5. B@D - Freelance merc runner who hacks Arasaka, Tygers, and just about anyone else.
6. TI Neptune - Top VDB netrunner.
7. Milko Alexis - Top VDB netrunner who hacks megacorps for blackmail.
8. Sanda Dorsette - Hacked Nightcorp and Maxtac.

C Tier: Proficient journeymen in all things netrunning.
9. Brigitte - VDB leader with extensive knowlege of AIs.
10. Yoko Tsuru - Mr Hand's personal netrunner, colleague of T-Bug, and hacked MaxTac.
11. T-Bug - Hacked Arasaka and Militech.
12. Beatrice Ellen Trieste aka "8ug8ear" - Tyger Claw netrunner who hacks megacorps and is good enough for Wakako to hire a merc to save.

D Tier: Only proficient in certain aspects of netrunning or use-to-be.
12. Carol Emeka - Nomad netrunner who hacked Militec.
13. Chang Hoon Nam - Has-been netrunner and "friend" to Wakako who can hack Tyger Claws but gets ICEd 'easily' and nearly dies hacking MaxTac.
14. Ben DeBaillon - VDB netrunner who couldn't hack Netwatch or the guy he hired to hack Netwatch.
15. Spectral Kid - Associate of Hoon Nam's who gets fried trying to hack VDBs.
16. Vortex - Hacked Tyger Claws but was discovered.
16. Juliet Horrigan - Barely worth mentioning as there's little evidence of her netrunning ability before getting ganked by her sister.

Any difference of opinion or netrunners I should have included?

V is a Quickhacker.

V uses quickhacks to hack. V has not been into the net 'officialy' till V meets up with the VDB's and Alt.
(even tho our V might be spec'd into Int and is wearing all netrunner gear, they still dump us into an ice bath lol)

they didnt want to have to create a 'game within a game' as it were, to allow for our smart V's to be actual netrunners. not create the actual networks we could run.
understandable, as the way the tabletop handles a netrun has changed from the original way, but is still confusing, and i'm not sure they could come up with a concept to do it.

Yep completely correct. :D

I'm of the thinking that Bryce wasn't stupid enough to be that dead guy, and the dude we meet and have the chance to cut a deal with, is very likely him.
Afterall, he basically proves he knows what he's doing in the short time we deal with him.
Oh, I do not doubt that the guy we have met is a great runner. I am just wondering whether he really is who he claims to be, after finding a dead body and a badge with his name on it.
That said, his colleague later on confirmed his ID during the Milko Alexis gig. Scratching my head...

True. V is also lacking the interface for a runner´s chair in the back of her/his head.
Then again, V claims to be a top netrunner during a dialogue with Nix, as far as I recall.

The dead guy had reason to claim he was Bryce. Why would the net runner we intercept need to claim he was someone else? Just more food for thought.

Well, he WAS planting a virus in Vs chrome. Maybe he was worried V could track him down later. Like V could find his place in the public phone book... lol

Bryce knew he only had a cameo appearance, and wanted to leave a larger mark on the game somehow. lol.

But really, who confirmed Bryce hit V with a virus? Alt? I don't remember. See, he was right, Bryce was there and gone from the story in a flash. Maybe if he tried to hit Alt with a virus he would have left more of an impression on the game. lol

In any case, I was disappointed that our paths never crossed again. Apart from a remark of a fellow agent, there was no more mentioning of him.
I am not entirely sure whether Alt has called it a virus. I think she was only mentioning that Netwatch somehow used the VBs and V breaking the blackwall in order to get to her. V called it a virus in the dialogue with the agent during the Milko gig, I think.

Me as well, and why I joked he only had a cameo appearance, but at least it was an important one. After all, wasn't he the one that fried TVB netrunners (if you go that route)?

I think Alt fried them because they have - albeit unknowingly - rolled out the red carpet for Netwatch. I guess Alt would have done the same to V, if not for the construct in Vs head. Then again, maybe this would probably have required V to have a runner´s port in the skull, which V does not have. The VBs were all fried in their runner chairs.
