Edit: Spider doesn't appear outside of the Johnny flashbacks which she does survive.
Maximum like sideways mentions her.
that 'friend' of his, who told him the Net is Hell (the place, not the concept) and that Rache just found the place.
Sill implies that she is still around and should be on the above list then.
I think so, if it was a list about the Cyberpunk universe, but Murphy doesn't have any presence in 2077 to indicate she's alive, much less still netrunning. I mean, to be fair, Hanako was supposed to be a netrunner too but 2077 seem to retcon that. Notice her distinct lack of netrunning cyberware.
think it's more of a hobby for her.
a well brought up Lady does not sport 'overt' or 'vulgar' visible cyberware.
Kei Arasaka (Saburo's first son) was the real Netrunner of the family.

V is a walking talking Netrunner doom machine that hacks anything, anywhere, instantly thrown her way and survives tons of Blackwall stuff.
On a more serious note, It's actually sort of true when comparing in game power late game, because I feel some blackwall or pro hacker story events in game are on or below my V's netrunning and quickhack power.
It's like "Really that's the big thing my ally set up to disable the defences? I could have done that just by walking in the door myself" :D
And of course all that dialogue where you help a pro Netrunner hack and they compliment you, sometimes admitting you may be better than them on how skilled you are.
A Netrunner Corpo V like mine being formerly the second in command at NC Counter Intelligence division for Arasaka, means that headcanon wise, there's room for V to have been the "best of the best." Just no one knew about it cause Arasaka Corpo Rat in Counter Intelligence.
Anyways on a more, more serious note: Alt Cunningham if you count her present form as "alive," is obviously S tier on par and greater than Songbird. That's proven in game as both pull off similar power, but Alt is more controlled/restrained and what she pulls off makes V and Johnny go "Oh ♥♥♥♥ she can basically do whatever she wants to any and all technology and there's likely nothing we can do to stop her."
The world is lucky that Alt is technically a benevolent AI that doesn't care to interfere with the real world, but still has the power to easily cross the Blackwall lol. :p
V is a Quickhacker.
V uses quickhacks to hack. V has not been into the net 'officialy' till V meets up with the VDB's and Alt.
(even tho our V might be spec'd into Int and is wearing all netrunner gear, they still dump us into an ice bath lol)
they didnt want to have to create a 'game within a game' as it were, to allow for our smart V's to be actual netrunners. not create the actual networks we could run.
understandable, as the way the tabletop handles a netrun has changed from the original way, but is still confusing, and i'm not sure they could come up with a concept to do it.
I'm of the thinking that Bryce wasn't stupid enough to be that dead guy, and the dude we meet and have the chance to cut a deal with, is very likely him.
Afterall, he basically proves he knows what he's doing in the short time we deal with him.
so maybe there are a lot of 'Bryce Mosley's around, and NC just took two of them out.
