How do i start phantom liberty early?

Hey, i want to start the DLC as early as i can into the story. I know you need to finish some main quests before that. Does anyone know the order or which quests i need to have completed? I want the absolute most of the maingame still available and not play until i should be meeting hanako.

I know it should be starting after the voodoo boys quests but i think you need to finish some other mainquests before mr hands calls you back

Any information about all the things to do while still maintaining most of the maingame is greatly appreciated.

It unlocks as soon you do Pacifica. You can't before that. Just track any other quest and fast forward time 24 hours, mr.hands call you immediatly after.

I started playing after the DLC, and also wondered about that. I found this on the interweb, that I copied into a text file, which might help. But you might want to do some more research to be sure, perhaps

Hey, thank you for your replies. I've done some digging but i cannot find something clear. It all comes down to when the quest M'ap Tann Pèlen triggers. Mr. Hands wont call be back though. Im pretty sure you need to do some more main story missions before you can do the vodoo quests. Which is exactly what i do not want to do. :/

Im right after the mission in which i saved evilin and i called Mr. Hands and didnt do any takemura and panam main missions. It really is a shame that you cannot do dlc content right away.


Does anybody have an idea what the exact requirement are for Mr. Hands to call you back?

I just really want to preserve most main and side missions of the main game after i unlocked the new relic skill tree and some dlc weapons.

There is an option to start a new game at lvl 15 where you can go straight to Dogtown, if I've understood it correctly.

I haven't tried this myself, but maybe there is a list of 'completed' missions when you start that, even if you haven't done any missions? If there is (for context reasons and such it would make sense), those are the ones that have to be done.

I have a feeling the completed missions list might be empty, though.

Just start at 15 using the Phantom Liberty option, it completes the minimum amount of quest you need to get there, BUT you miss getting at least 2 iconic weapons.

The black market vendor in Dogtown sells any iconic weapons you've missed for some reason, if I've understood it correctly. If so, they will probably be available for purchase there?

Would be nice if he sold other items you've missed as well, like that iguana egg in The Heist which enables an iguana pet in your apartment, I think

But I've started a new game too now (corpo female), from the beginning, so I'll get a chance to get that and other things soon
