How to downgrade to Patch 2.11 - Small Guide

Cyberpunk 2077: download_depot 1091500 1091501 415651277559119937
Phantom Liberty: download_depot 2138330 2138330 1247263585971652529

You only need to download Phantom Liberty if you have the DLC.


- Press Win + R
- In the new window type: steam://open/console
- Now you use "download_depot 1091500 1091501 415651277559119937" for the basegame and "download_depot 2138330 2138330 1247263585971652529" for Phantom Liberty (type/copy it without the exclamation marks)
- After everything is downloaded you can find it in \Steam\steamapps\content\
- Copy the files to \Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077

Won't the game just automatically update again? There's no longer a way to tell it to only update when you tell it to do so.

This problem is emerging across the software scene on a whole lately. Especially in Windows. Also seeing similar behavior in other devices. Somethin' def sus with this

The easy way is to set Steam to update on launch - and play offline via game .exe file - simple and hassle free, I am still on 2.01 version with all mods (200+)working - I will update when FSR3 makes an appearance.
Of course you sacrifice Steam online stuff (achievements, game hrs etc) with this approach, but takes no effort and lets you keep control of what you want to play and when..

Oh, right. I didn't think of that. I always play via the executable. Never thought about it. Guess I'll attempt to run my game after all and see if I'm still on 2.11!

You can stop steam from updating the game by setting CP2077's appmanifest file to read only.
